If you decide that you no longer want to share that stream, you can delete it. To remove a Shared Photo Stream, go to the Photo Stream pane in the Photos app. Tap the Edit button in the upper right corner. An X appears in the corner of each Shared Photo Stream album. Tap the X to delete that Shared Photo Stream from all devices. Tap the blue Done button when you’re finished.

Connecting Photo Stream to a Windows PC

Photo Stream connects reasonably well with a Windows 7 or Windows 8 PC, although not as smoothly as with a Mac. The first step is to download the iCloud control panel for Windows (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455) and install it. Once you do so, you can enable Photo Stream by clicking the Options button and checking the boxes next to My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams, as shown in Figure 5-16, in that control panel.

The location for your Photo Stream folders will also be listed. The default residence is the folder Photo Stream inside your Pictures folder. If you’ve enabled all the features, you’ll have three new folders in your Photo Stream folder: My Photo Stream, Shared, and Uploads.
